How went the show December 10 at the Press?

Here's the set list, for those of you bootleggers that don't know the titles yet...

a little piece of Radiohead's "Creep"
Paul
Defend You
Radiation

Would I Be So True?
Mary
Los Angeles/impromptu singing of Auld Lang Syne at end of song

Country Star
Breathing Room

Christmas Tree Farm
Teenage Bible
Open

It was a very nice show. The boys were pumpin' the rock jams out. The triple guitar attack of Eli, Dan, AND Steve was enough to send the ill-prepared-for rock, weak-of-heart diners out into the cold winter night (well, cold in Southern California is really not cold). The bass and drum work of Shouse/Eggehorn was the kick in the butt that sent them out the door.

Christmas Tree Farm, was, dare I say, a hit? Was it not? C'mon you bloggers, give it up and give us some feedback. We shan't edit you in the least.

If anyone has digital or real photos of the evening, please email 'em to me.

By the way, we owe a not-so-small debt of gratitude to Tipsy Jack and their fans for A)putting up with our incredibly long set-up length and B)getting us this nice gig and bar tab in the first place.

I had the nachos. They were superb. And Eric can personally attest to the tastiness of the garlic fries, though his close friends felt it was a bit overkill.

Tipsy Jack brought the sweet roots riffs and harmonies. Tipsy Jack was and is Tracy Huffman, Wyman Reese, Danny Ott, Mike Baker and Brian Wells.

Danny played a few guitar solos that made me embarrassed to say that I'm a guitar player. Fully embarrassed. He was doing some amazing solo and then he busted out this holiday melody riff that killed me. It was a pleasure to enjoy good food and company and music. Thanks TJ!
