Pushstart Wagon's Suckiest Review Ever--Sweet!

It's true. There are those in "The Right" who would try and put us down.

Will we crawl in a hole and ball up into a fetal position? Will we lose much sleep? Yes. Yes, we will. Both of those things.

We leave you to judge.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our worst review:

4 out of 10. The Reckoning.

i didn't know you guys were going "hard country" with this disc.

who the hell is Aaron Burkhalter anyway? ignore that crap, what sort of albums does that guy put out?

"NAYSAYER! ALWAYS NAYSAYING!" it's not like Aaron Burkhalter came up with "inward singing" or anything cool like that.

Yeah. I was also confused. I don't think any of our promotional materials support that we are even remotely trying to be country. A telecaster is going to make some things have twang...but Pedro plays a tele and he sure ain't country...

...I guess our cover does have a SPUR and a COWBOY HAT...so that must make us country.

:) I just laughed.

Yeah, whoa... I guess he'd have to know the background story for Country Star and then have been aware of the band from the beginning, to get where you guys are going.

Steve: Did he interview you guys before reviewing the album? I know that's probably unusual, but I think he could have written a better informed review of your record.

By the way - I was taking the kiddos to the mall and Zachary (6) and Claire (3) both asked me to put in "that CD from your friend, Steve, in California." They both love "L.A. was our Alamo" (I like it, too!).

If you're ever in the Metro Dallas area, give us a call!
